Job summary

Aurora Medical Center – Summit in Summit, WI is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Float Team. The role involves rotating inpatient units, surgical, neuro, and medical services with cross-training opportunities and a strong focus on patient safety and quality care.

The position is 0.6 FTE with two 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) and every third weekend, offering growth and development in a supportive environment. Prior inpatient RN experience is required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 1.5–2 years of inpatient RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Maintain safe patient environment and effective communication across the team.
