Job summary

MercyOne Clinton Medical Center in Clinton, IA is hiring a Registered Nurse, RN Float Pool for a full-time, 12-hour night shift. Join a dedicated care team delivering high-quality, family-centered nursing across hospital services.

As a Registered Nurse, you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care under ANA standards, coordinate with physicians and staff, and ensure safety, compassion and evidence-based practice during each shift.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license in Iowa (or compact license)
• Associate degree in nursing is required; BSN preferred
• Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and deliver evidence-based care
• Strong communication and collaboration with care teams and families

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 12-hour night shift
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and support staff
• Document care plans and progress according to ANA standards
• Monitor patient safety, comfort, and privacy; respond to changes in condition
