MercyOne Clinton Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the RN Float Pool. This full-time night shift role involves 12-hour shifts, with every third weekend and holiday rotation.
The position requires an Associate degree in nursing (BSN preferred) and an active Iowa RN license (or compact license). BLS is mandatory; ACLS if telemetry is present. Strong communication, critical thinking, and basic computer skills are essential.

Schedule: 7:00 pm – 7:30 am; every third weekend; holiday rotation.
Responsible for planning, assessing, intervening, co-coordinating and providing direct patient care by utilizing critical thinking skills. Communicates with physicians, ancillary care-givers, patients and families regarding the patient’s plan of care. Fulfill the responsibility of holistic (body, mind and spirit) nursing care based on the mission, vision and values of MercyOne Clinton Medical Center. Performs assessments including physical, psychosocial, nutritional, functional, safety, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs.
