Job summary

University Health Lakewood Medical Center in Missouri seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Float Pool. This full-time night-shift role will care for patients with acute, chronic, or terminal illnesses across a dynamic care setting.

You will assess, plan, and deliver nursing care, mentor students, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes. Missouri RN license and BCLS are required; BSN preferred. Join a supportive team and pursue continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Current Missouri RN license
• Current BCLS certification
• For PRN: at least one year of med/surg or specialty area experience
• BSN or equivalent degree preferred
• RN specialty certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess patients based on diagnosis and care needs
• Plan, perform, delegate, and evaluate nursing care using your expert skills
• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes
• Participate in committees, program evaluations, research, and education
• Supervise and mentor students
• Stay compliant with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and all organizational and regulatory requirements
