Job summary

UH Lakewood Medical Center is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool. The part-time RN will work 24 hours per week, across 2 shifts (6:45 AM–7:15 PM), providing high-quality care to acute and chronic patients while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, and supervision of students, all while adhering to the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Missouri RN license.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients based on diagnosis and care needs.
• Plan, perform, delegate, and evaluate nursing care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for optimal outcomes.
• Participate in committees, program evaluations, research and education.
• Supervise and mentor students.
• Ensure compliance with Missouri Nurse Practice Act and organizational requirements.
