Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Maplewood, MN seeks a Float Pool Registered Nurse to work across Cardiac Telemetry, Med/Surg, Orthopedics, and Oncology. This role offers diverse clinical experiences and a chance to support patient care throughout our 184-bed facility.

The position includes a 0.75 FTE schedule with 12-hour day shifts, every third weekend, and holiday rotation, plus a $2/hour augmentation for eligibility. A nurse residency option is available for new graduates.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• RN license and active state credential.
• Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Float to a variety of units including Cardiac Telemetry, Med/Surg, Orthopedics, Oncology.
• Provide care to a wide range of patient populations across units.
• Perform tele monitoring, IV therapies, and care for postoperative/medical-surgical patients.
• Orientation is based on a preceptor with unit-specific time allotted by experience.
• Possibility to train in specialty areas such as ER, ICU, and MCC after 6 months.
