Job summary

ThedaCare’s Float Pool Clinical Nurse role at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center - Appleton, Appleton, Wisconsin, offers patient-centered, evidence-based nursing across the care continuum through an interprofessional team. You will apply nursing processes and collaborate to deliver high-quality outcomes in a busy hospital setting.

We seek BSN or progress toward it, 2 years' RN experience in acute care, and current Wisconsin licensure with BLS and ACLS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or commitment to obtain within five years of hire.
• Two years' experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care hospital setting.
• Experience with Float Pool and/or Resource teams in healthcare settings.
• Current Wisconsin RN or compact nursing licensure.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire date

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess patients and plan care in collaboration with the interprofessional team.
• Develops a care plan and delivers evidence-based nursing care.
• Provides high-quality care across the care continuum and promotes safe outcomes.
• Mentors and supports ongoing professional development among staff.
• Collaborates with physicians and team members to solve problems and improve patient care
