Job summary

Berger Health System in Athens, Ohio, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care across the continuum in diverse acute care settings. The role supports 24/7/365 operations in a float pool, works with a multidisciplinary team, and strives for safety, quality, and compassionate patient care across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required; BSN preferred or required within timeframe.
• Current Ohio RN license and BLS certification.
• ACLS certification and ongoing competency per OhioHealth standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care to patients and families across care continuum.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care with a multidisciplinary team.
• Delegate tasks to LPNs and UAPs per Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
• Participate in process improvement to enhance quality and safety.
• Support 24/7/365 operations within the department.
