Job summary

Baldwin Health invites applications for a Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN). The role covers multiple units with 3x12 shifts, full-time status, and weekends (Fri-Sun) daytime hours, 7am–7pm.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required by state
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS certifications preferred
• NRP certification preferred
• Experience in acute/critical care settings beneficial

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and staff to develop care plans.
• Respond to medical emergencies and assist in life-saving interventions (CPR, code team).
• Educate patients and families on conditions and post-discharge care.
