Responsibilities

• Performs all responsibilities and duties required by unit as specific to the scope of service.
• Maintains up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care in EMR.
• Completes initial assessment upon patient admission and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Implements plan of care and nursing interventions; modifies plan based on evaluation.
• Takes responsibility for patient and employee safety; reports hazards and incidents.
• Floats to various inpatient units and provides direct nursing care as part of the float pool.
