Riverside Healthcare seeks a skilled Registered Nurse to join the float pool in Kankakee, Illinois. The RN will provide care across medical, surgical, and cardiac units, with emphasis on ortho/neuro diagnoses.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of patient-centered care. The role requires strong clinical skills, multitasking ability, and collaboration with the health care team.

Formación

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• PALS certification within 1 year of hire for pediatric units.
• ACLS certification within 1 year of hire; ACLS preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients and develop care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor responses and adjust care plans.
• Continuously monitor vital signs and patient status; document observations accurately.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other professionals; participate in discharge planning.
