Riverside Healthcare in Kankakee, Illinois is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our acute care team. The role involves patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in a fast-paced environment, with emphasis on patient-centered care and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Ideal candidates will have strong clinical and interpersonal skills, BLS, and the ability to manage multiple tasks; pediatric/ICU/PALS/ACLS certifications within 1 year may be required.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• For pediatric unit: PALS Certification required within 1 year of hire.
• For ICU/IMC units: ACLS certification required within 1 year of hire.
• New Graduate RNs starting on or after 1/1/25 must earn BSN within 3 years of start date.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Administer medications and procedures within scope as ordered by provider.
• Monitor vital signs and patient responses; document observations.
• Coordinate care with physicians and healthcare professionals; participate in discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families, considering culture and age; provide resources for recovery.
