Job summary

Baptist Health in Kentucky is seeking a Float Pool Registered Nurse to support ICU and Tele units in Lexington. The RN will provide patient-centered care, coordinate admissions, transfers, discharges, and education for patients and families.

As a clinical nurse, you will use evidence-based practice, the nursing process, and collaboration across disciplines to promote healing and wellness in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience; Bachelor's or Associates with progression required.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP and dysrhythmia class per department requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, ensure, and provide direct patient care on the unit (>50%).
• Provide nursing rounds, assessments, and treatments.
• Facilitate admission, transfer, and discharge activities.
• Provide patient and family-centered education.
• Care coordination and individualized treatment planning as applicable.
