Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking skilled RNs for the Float Pool in Springfield, MO. Nurses will cover medical-surgical and rehab floors, with 12-hour shifts and both night options 1830-0700 or 0630-1900.

Qualified candidates hold Missouri RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within one year, and bring strong communication and leadership abilities to a Magnet-level facility renowned for excellent patient care and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• RN license active in Missouri.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS within one year of hire.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates leadership and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Float Medical-Surgical nurse manages care of adult/geriatric patients with medical or surgical conditions.
• Assess patient condition, administer medications, change dressings and monitor vitals.
• Keep accurate records and provide education to patients and families.
• Support cross-training across floors with strong leadership support.
