Retreat Doctors’ Hospital is seeking a Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) to float to ICU, Telemetry, Medical/Surgical, and Behavioral Health units within the facility. You’ll collaborate with the clinical team to implement care plans and coordinate patient care, including discharge planning.

The role requires nursing licensure in Virginia (or a Compact license), a minimum of three years acute care experience, and BLS certification.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Virginia or has a Compact license.
• Minimum three years of acute care experience with demonstrated and proven competency in several specialty areas.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsabilidades

• Instruct and educate patients and their family members.
• Administer prescribed medications using the 5 rights of medication administration, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs.
• Our nursing team monitors, records and communicates patient conditions using computerized documentation systems.
• Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, including discharge planning with the healthcare team.

Educación

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Licensed RN in Virginia or Compact license

Minimum 3 years of acute care experience

Basic Life Support (BLS)
