Job summary

Augusta Health is seeking an experienced RN to join the Float Pool on a part-time basis. The Float Pool RN will be assigned to different units based on staffing needs.

A registered professional nurse is responsible for delivering patient care for assigned patients on a specific shift and coordinating the nursing plan of care while carrying out physician orders and nursing standards of care using the nursing process. He/she will also direct and guide other members of the patient care team.

Qualifications

• Two years RN experience in two or more areas required.
• Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse in Virginia.
• CPR certification required in addition to specialty-unit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care for assigned patients on a given shift.
• Coordinate the nursing plan of care and carry out physician orders and nursing standards using the nursing process.
