Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO is seeking a Facility Float Pool Patient Care Technician (PCT) for 12-hour night shifts. Under supervision, you will assist with patient care and essential tasks while supporting a collaborative care team.

No prior experience is required to start in the PCA track with 175-hour Missouri DHSS training; EMT/CPCT backgrounds are valued and training timelines are defined. Mercy offers a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• No experience required; PCA pathway with 175-hour training during orientation.
• Preferred EMT, Paramedic, or prior patient care experience (PCA/CNA/student nurse).
• HS diploma or GED; CNA/CPCT enrollment or Mercy coworker status.

Responsibilities

• Assist in individualized patient care under RN or LPN guidance.
• Perform designated clinical procedures and non-clinical support tasks.
• Work cooperatively with a team and participate in care goals.
