Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a PCT program w/ hospital experience or CNA with EKG & Phlebotomy training.
• CPR/BLS certification required at entry or upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist the nurse in patient care tasks and ensure safety and comfort.
• Support units with supplies, equipment and environment maintenance.
• Participate in data collection for quality and patient satisfaction.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families and staff; respect confidentiality.
• Respond to call lights promptly and help with activities of daily living.
