Job summary

Medical City North Hills Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Float Pool Patient Care Technician to join our nursing team. You will assist RNs with vital signs, mobility, personal care, and patient comfort, while helping maintain a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of start date.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Patient Care Technician or similar.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient prep, mobility, transfers and comfort to support care and recovery.
• Provide non-medicated care such as dressing changes and skin protection.
• Keep patient areas clean, organized and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Manage supplies, equipment and logs to support infection control and team readiness.
• Communicate kindly with patients, families and the care team to support safety and quality.
