Job summary

White Oak Medical Center is seeking an experienced Patient Care Technician for its Float Pool in Silver Spring, MD. The role involves performing vital signs and activities of daily living under RN supervision, supporting care plans, and ensuring patient safety.

The position is 12 hours per week with a day shift and every-other-weekend rotation, offering a competitive hourly pay range. Applicants must have a Maryland CNA license, completion of a CNA program, BLS certification, and strong English

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Successful completion of CNA or first year Nursing School Program and CNA exam required.
• Maryland CNA license required.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform vital signs and activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Follow care plan established by RN.
• Maintain safety and report equipment issues.
• Participate in education programs and meetings.
• Represent nursing and the organization professionally.
