Job summary

Mount Carmel, part of Trinity Health, is seeking a part-time Staff Registered Nurse in Columbus, OH. The RN will provide comprehensive patient care, collaborate with providers, and educate patients and families.

Positions include day and night shifts, with responsibilities across assessment, medication administration, and care coordination. Qualified candidates have an Ohio RN license, nursing degree, BLS/CPR, and at least 18 months of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Ohio.
• BLS/CPR current; ACLS/PALS/ER-ACLS may be required or preferred depending on unit.
• Minimum 18 months of recent clinical experience in the specialty area.
• Proficiency with EMR and computer skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient care for an assigned group; assist with examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications under provider direction per policies.
• Assist in emergencies and educate patients and families about procedures.
• Document assessments and outcomes; coordinate care with the team.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to other care team members as appropriate.
