Saint Luke’s North on Barry Road is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join our team. This entry-level role offers on-the-job training and a path to develop in a supportive hospital setting as you float between Barry Road and the Smithville Campus.

Responsibilities include providing patient care under an RN, assisting with daily living activities, and anticipating family needs. Join a team dedicated to compassionate care and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Mandt/CPI APS training (Healthstream)
• RQI - Resuscitation Quality Improvement training.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN.
• Assists with activities of daily living and care (bathing, hygiene, nutrition, mobility).
• Anticipates the patient’s family needs in a proactive fashion.
• Individualizes and modifies care according to patient needs.
• Collaborates with other health care team members to enhance patient care.

Saint Luke’s North on Barry Road is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join our team. This is a great entry level position with on the job training available for an applicant that has been interested in joining the healthcare field but is not specifically certified. This opportunity is also a great position for an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) that is looking for a supportive workplace to call home. You will have the opportunitytohelp improve hospital throughput and capacity while enhancing the patient experience by floating between departments as needed based on staffing and patient care needs. Shift Details

Part time night shift 6:45pm-7:15am, 2 shifts per week; Floats between 2 locations: Barry Road and Smithville Campus

The Work

• Providespatient care under the direction and supervision of an RN.
• Providesassistance with activities of daily living and care, such as bathing, personal hygiene, elimination and toileting, nutrition, feeding, hydration, ambulation and positioning.
• Anticipatesthe patient’s family needs in a proactive fashion.
• Individualizesand modifiescare according to the patient’s needs.
• Collaborateswith other health care team members to enhance the provision of patient care.
