Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Edina, MN is seeking a Nursing Assistant at M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital. This role supports patient care under supervision, with 12-hour day shifts and a 72-hour biweekly schedule.

You’ll assist with routine tasks, monitor patient conditions, help with admissions and transfers, and maintain clean, well-supplied rooms. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO and more.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required or obtainable upon OnTrack completion.
• Six months of direct care experience in long-term, home, or acute care.
• Enrollment in an LPN/RN program or completion of one clinical rotation.
• Current MN Nursing Assistant Registry status at hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist the professional nurse in delivering patient care and transport.
• Set up and maintain patient rooms; stock supplies and manage orders.
• Monitor patient condition and document vitals; report findings to RN.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges; orient patients.
• Ensure timely patient movement to appointments and aid in ambulation.
• Accurately document tasks and perform other duties as needed.
