Responsibilities

• Float Pool RN performs nursing duties in accordance with hospital policy procedures; may function as charge nurse or staff nurse.

• Directs patient care with independence in the majority of situations and serves as a resource to other employees.
• Responsible and accountable for prescribing and coordinating all nursing care provided on the unit using the nursing process.
