Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Physical Therapist to join its float team. The role covers outpatient locations within about 45 miles from home site, with full-time opportunities and a generous sign-on bonus. Training, benefits, and flexible hours accompany a comprehensive compensation plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• BLS certification within 6 months (as required).
• Physical Therapist license issued by the state where practicing.

Responsibilities

• Interpret referrals and perform musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary evaluations.
• Establish a plan of care and implement treatment based on evaluation and goals.
• Monitor outcomes and adjust the treatment plan; update physicians.
• Plan for discharge and provide home programs and teaching.
• Complete required documentation, billing, and scheduling per policy.
• Maintain patient care area and assist with equipment and safety.
• Participate in performance improvement and professional growth.
