Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Saint Charles, MO. The role involves blood collection across multiple sites, working within a dynamic team, and delivering quality patient care.

You will collect specimens, enter data accurately, and support performance metrics while traveling to different sites as needed. Prior phlebotomy experience and a valid certification are preferred. This position offers growth opportunities within Labcorp’s extensive network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is acceptable in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Assist with administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
