Labcorp in North Charleston, SC seeks a Phlebotomist Float to join our team. You will perform blood collections, collect specimens for tests, and ensure accurate data entry while traveling to multiple sites. Excellent customer service and flexibility are essential.

The role offers diverse patient interactions, on-site training, and potential advancement within Labcorp's global network. This position requires phlebotomy certification or training and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• One year or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency or previous experience as a phlebotomist.
• Be at least 21 years’ old.
• Have a Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record with reliable transportation.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
