Job summary

Labcorp in Urbandale, IA seeks a Float Phlebotomist to join our team. You’ll perform venipuncture and capillary collections across age groups, travel to multiple sites as needed, and support billing and patient data entry with accuracy and empathy.

This role offers weekday scheduling with potential overtime and a bonus incentive program; previous Labcorp experience is a plus, and a valid driver’s license is required to travel between sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or 2+ years experience preferred; accredited program acceptable.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
