Job summary

Labcorp in Tulsa is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to support multiple sites. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques, collect specimens, enter data, and provide patient service. A high school diploma and 1 year of phlebotomy experience are required; certification preferred.

Travel to additional sites as needed. The Float Incentive adds $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement. Schedule is Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM with one Saturday per month, and benefits are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of phlebotomy experience or more.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis and maintain logs.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and travel to additional sites as needed.
