Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Float Phlebotomist to join our Tulsa, OK team. The role involves venipuncture and capillary blood collection across all ages, data entry, and travel to additional sites as needed. Excellent customer service and accurate record-keeping are essential.

The position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience, with preferred certification. Schedule includes Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM plus one Saturday per month.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist
• Strong customer service capability
• Effective written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Travel to additional sites when needed
