Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to support operations in Owasso and surrounding OK locations. The role involves venipuncture, specimen collection, data entry, patient service, and occasional travel to other sites. Requires a high school diploma and phlebotomy experience; certification preferred.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday with early start times and potential weekend rotations. Benefits and incentive details are provided to appropriate staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6+ months phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program preferred (or 3+ years experience).

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
