Job summary

Labcorp, Worcester, MA, is seeking a Float Phlebotomist toJoined our team to perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection across diverse patient age groups. You will ensure accurate data entry, specimen handling and courteous patient service.

This role involves travel to multiple sites, with a schedule that includes weekdays and rotating Saturdays. A high school diploma and phlebotomy training or certification is required, plus strong communication and team-work skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6+ months phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
