Labcorp is a global leader in laboratory services with a vast network designed to provide vital information to healthcare providers, patients, researchers, and health systems.

We are seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Springfield, PA, with a schedule Monday–Friday, 6:00am–6:00pm, and rotating Saturdays. Responsibilities include venipuncture, data entry, specimen processing, and travel to other sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred (1 year or more).
• Strong communication and customer service skills; able to work independently or in a team.
• Able to pass color vision test and hold a valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
