Job summary

Labcorp in Jacksonville and Orange Park, FL seeks a Float Phlebotomist to perform blood collections and related duties across multiple sites. Monday-Friday 6:30AM-3:00PM with travel to additional sites as needed.

You will collect specimens, enter data accurately, assist with billing as required, and deliver courteous patient service while maintaining logs and quality standards. A HS diploma and phlebotomy experience are required; certification preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
