Job summary

Labcorp in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a phlebotomist float to join our per diem team. The role involves traveling to multiple sites and collecting blood samples on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, with a schedule not to exceed 19 hours per week.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a phlebotomy certification or training, or 6+ months of phlebotomy experience; 1 year of phlebotomy experience is preferred. We offer competitive benefits and an incentive plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of training or 6+ months phlebotomy experience.
• 1 year or more phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately in the data system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide excellent customer service and travel to additional sites as needed.
