Job summary

GTT is seeking a Phlebotomist - Float to cover multiple Patient Service Centers and In-Office phlebotomy locations in the Boca Raton area. The role requires drawing quality blood, preparing samples for lab testing, and maintaining accurate patient data while delivering excellent patient service.

Travel between sites is expected with minimal notice; weekends and flexible hours are required. This contract role offers onsite work and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Five years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Must be able to travel between multiple sites with short notice.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples following established procedures.
• Prepare specimens for lab testing with accuracy.
• Verify patient demographics and labeling for safety.
• Maintain records and documentation as required.
• Provide a safe, professional environment and positive patient interactions.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors when applicable.
