Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist II - Float to join our field team in Ocala, FL. This onsite role covers multiple sites with travel between locations and occasional weekends.

You will draw blood samples, prepare specimens for testing, and ensure patient safety and accuracy in labeling and documentation. The position requires 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience, a high school diploma, and valid work authorization in the U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent — REQUIRED.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training — preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification — preferred; required in CA, NV, and WA; strongly preferred but not required in FL.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily phlebotomy tasks accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform venipuncture and processing of specimens following established practices.
• Verify patient demographics and labeling to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Represent the organization professionally to patients and staff.
