Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Gresham, Oregon. This role includes venipuncture and capillary collections across age groups, specimen handling, data entry, and patient service at multiple sites.

You may travel as needed and support various patient service centers or client offices. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and phlebotomy training or certification, strong communication, and a customer-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency.
• Color vision in line with testing requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
