Job summary

Labcorp’s PAML unit in Salem, OR is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform venipuncture and specimen collection across multiple sites. You will handle data entry, maintain logs, and provide outstanding patient service.

Preferred candidates have 1+ year phlebotomy experience or Labcorp exposure, and a high school diploma. The role offers a quarterly incentive program and comprehensive benefits. Travel to client offices may be required.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent data entry and record-keeping skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication with patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Qualified to perform moderately complexity testing as defined by CLIA
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collecting payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
