Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or 3+ months of experience as a phlebotomist.
• Able to pass a color-vision test.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Ability to work independently or in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately into data systems.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and ensure proper labeling and handling.
• Maintain accurate patient and specimen logs.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
