Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join PAML in Salem, OR. The role involves blood collection, specimen handling, and customer service across patient service centers and client sites.

Responsibilities include venipuncture, specimen processing, and data entry with CLIA-moderate complexity testing support. Requires a high school diploma; phlebotomy experience and a valid driver’s license are preferred. Bonuses and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy knowledge and patient service skills.
• Clia moderate complexity testing familiarity preferred.
• Strong communication, written and verbal, across teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Qualifed to perform moderately complexity testing as defined by CLIA
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collecting payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
