Job summary

Talent Solutions Partners seeks a Phlebotomist to support float coverage across multiple Albany-area locations. The role involves performing blood draws, labeling and handling specimens, and ensuring accurate patient data entry and specimen transport per established procedures.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of phlebotomy experience, a valid state phlebotomy certification, and familiarity with OSHA/DEP standards.

Qualifications

• 2 years of phlebotomy experience required
• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state of employment
• Minimum of 6 months venipuncture in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Properly explains the venipuncture process to patients in a clear, courteous manner.
• Label, centrifuge, split, and package specimens for transport as required.
