Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our Spokane, WA team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary methods for all ages, collect specimens for various tests, and provide accurate data entry and patient service.

The position offers Monday–Friday hours 7:00am–7:00pm with overtime and occasional Saturdays. A valid Washington phlebotomy license is required, plus reliable transportation and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington-issued phlebotomy license.
• 6+ months of phlebotomy experience.
• 6+ months of Labcorp phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Must pass a color blindness test.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Flexibility to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
