Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Float Pharmacist for Central Michigan to support multiple sites with prescription processing and patient service.

This onsite role covers Saginaw, Flint, Alma, West Branch, Stanton, Lapeer, Sandusky, Mt. Pleasant, Bad Axe, with a 35-hour workweek and some Saturdays. The position emphasizes dispensing, customer service, and immunization administration where allowed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current pharmacist license in state of Michigan.
• Certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Preferred: Authorization to administer long-acting injectables or willing to obtain within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
