Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of the UnitedHealth Group family, seeks a Full-time Float Pharmacist (35 hours per week) to perform professional duties across Genoa locations in the Dayton and Cincinnati areas. Hours are generally Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with occasional Fridays and no weekends.

Responsibilities include dispensing medications, counseling customers on use, immunizations where allowed, and ensuring compliance with state boards. A driver’s license and transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current pharmacist license in state of Ohio.
• Certified immunizer.
• Driver's License and access to a reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
