Job summary

UnitedHealth Group seeks a Per Diem Float Pharmacist to support Genoa Healthcare locations in Northwest Ohio, ensuring access to medications for behavioral health and specialty care. Primary duties include dispensing prescriptions, educating customers, and maintaining compliance with State Pharmacy laws.

Hours are generally Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm with no weekends. Salary ranges from $44.00 to $79.00 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current pharmacist license in the state of Ohio.
• Certified immunizer.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
