Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Full-time Float Pharmacist (35 hours per week) to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with processing prescriptions. Float to Genoa locations throughout the Dayton and Cincinnati areas.

Hours are generally Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with occasional Fridays; no weekends or holidays. The role includes dispensing medications, patient counseling, immunization administration where allowed, and adherence to State

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current pharmacist license in the state of Ohio.
• Certified immunizer.
• Driver's License and access to a reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
