St. Barnabas Health System in Pennsylvania is seeking a Float Personal Care Attendant / Med Tech to provide comprehensive resident care across multiple sites, including Arbors Valencia and Arbors Gibsonia.

The role requires travel between locations and offers a base pay of $25 per hour with attractive shift differentials. Responsibilities include ADL assistance, rounds for safety and well-being, meal service, housekeeping, and documentation of resident care.

Qualifications

• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for at least 8 hours per shift.
• Lift at least 50 lbs and carry 25 lbs.
• Ability to kneel, squat, twist, bend at the waist, and reach.
• Push residents in wheelchairs and move laundry carts.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Make rounds checking location, safety, and well-being of residents.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence.
• Deliver mail and newspapers to residents.
• Set dining room tables and serve meals or snacks.
• Perform basic housekeeping and laundry duties.
• Document resident care and vitals accurately.
• Escort residents to activities and events.
• Attend required in-service training and maintain CPR/First Aid.
