Job summary

St. Barnabas Health System in Valencia, PA is seeking a full-time Housekeeper for Arbors Valencia Nursing Home to maintain clean, safe living areas for residents.

Daily duties include cleaning, disinfecting restrooms, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal and equipment upkeep; must lift at least 25 lbs and work Monday–Friday, daytime shifts. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits to support your valued work.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Ability to interact with team members and residential clientele.
• Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs.
• Must be able to navigate and move around the Facility to provide cleaning services.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, mopping and disinfecting restrooms daily. Restocking all paper products and soaps.
• Daily cleaning to include, vacuuming, dusting, disinfecting, restrooms, kitchens and removing all trash to outside containers.
• All common areas, daily vacuuming of all carpeted areas, removal of stains, carpet cleaning as needed, mop all tile/hard surfaces daily.
• Must maintain and clean equipment daily to report any repairs to supervisor.
• Attend required in-service education training and staff meetings.
• All other related duties as assigned.

St. Barnabas Nursing Home is looking for experienced Housekeepers:

• Job Type: Full Time
• Shifts: Monday - Friday, Daylight

What You Will Do:
