Job summary

AMR seeks Float Paramedics to deliver compassionate, high-quality prehospital care across assigned regions. You will lead scene operations, apply advanced medical protocols, monitor patients with EKG and defibrillation equipment, and manage transport on ambulances.

Shift locations include multiple Kansas and Missouri counties. We require state-paramedic certifications for KS and MO, a valid driver’s license, and BLS/ACLS upon hire; PALS is a plus.

Qualifications

• Paramedic certifications required for Kansas and Missouri.
• Driver’s license required and must be in good standing.
• BLS and ACLS required on hire; PALS preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine best action per Paramedic protocols.
• Provide advanced medical care using defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and families to explain care and decisions.
